中國(guó)科學(xué)院測(cè)量與地球物理研究所現(xiàn)有職工168人，其中中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士1人，研究員31人，副研究員50人。測(cè)地所是國(guó)務(wù)院首批博士、碩士學(xué)位授予單位，設(shè)有“測(cè)繪科學(xué)與技術(shù)”博士后流動(dòng)站，“測(cè)繪科學(xué)與技術(shù)”一級(jí)學(xué)科博士、碩士學(xué)位培養(yǎng)點(diǎn)，“固體地球物理學(xué)”和“自然地理學(xué)”兩個(gè)二級(jí)學(xué)科博士、碩士學(xué)位培養(yǎng)點(diǎn)以及測(cè)繪工程專業(yè)學(xué)位碩士培養(yǎng)點(diǎn)。
目前，測(cè)地所在讀研究生152人（含留學(xué)生2人），其中博士86人，碩士64人，在站博士后12人。研究生教育規(guī)模迅速發(fā)展，培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量不斷提升。在進(jìn)入中科院知識(shí)創(chuàng)新以來(lái)，中科院測(cè)地所4篇論文獲全國(guó)百篇優(yōu)秀博士學(xué)位論文，4次獲得“中科院院長(zhǎng)特別獎(jiǎng)”，4人獲得國(guó)際導(dǎo)航技術(shù)大會(huì)學(xué)生優(yōu)秀論文獎(jiǎng)，連續(xù)2屆獲得“中科院優(yōu)秀博士學(xué)位論文獎(jiǎng)”，以及彭蔭剛科技獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金、劉永齡獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。
測(cè)地所為每位研究生提供著強(qiáng)大的科研生活保障。研究生在讀期間，每月可享受較高的助研津貼，并有資格申請(qǐng)中科院院長(zhǎng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金、國(guó)家獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金、學(xué)業(yè)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金及其他冠名獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。
截止2018年，測(cè)地所畢業(yè)的研究生，已有3人當(dāng)選中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士，大部分畢業(yè)生已成為軍隊(duì)、知名高校以及相關(guān)企事業(yè)單位的科技骨干。
Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics Chinese Academy of Sciences is home to 168 staff members , one of whom is Academican , 31 are professor Researchers , and 50 are Associate Professor Researchers. IGG.CAS runs post-doctoral station in Surveying Science and Technology, and is eligiable to confer doctoral and Master degrees of Solid Geophysics and Geodesy and Survey Engineering, as well as Master degree of Physical Geographics.
At present, 152 graduate students, 86 of whom are Ph.D candidates, 64 masters and 12 post-doctorate, including 2 overseas students, are enrolled. The graduate education is being improved rapidly, both in student numbers and in education quality. four Ph.D thesises were awarded “National 100 Excellent Thesises”. Four student were awarded “Special Prize of President Scholars of CAS”. Four papers were awarded Excellent Paper Prize of International Navigation Technology Conference from. Two Ph.D thesises won successively Excellent Doctorate Thesis Prize of CAS. Four students won Pen Yingang Science and Technology Prize and Liu Yongling Scholarship.
IGG.CAS provides a strong scientific research life security for each graduate student.Master students can acquire higher monthly allowance.In addition,every student has the qualification to apply for many scholarships.
By 2018, 3 students have alreay Elected Academicians among the graduates from IGG.Most of them have become the backbone of Military,Well-known colleges and public institution.
